I’ve been playing racket and paddle sports my entire life, but everything changed when I moved to New York to pursue a PhD in Philosophy
When I moved to New York for graduate school after COVID, I was starving for community. Playing pickleball in Brooklyn, I realized I felt like a better philosopher on the court than in the classroom. Pickleball emerged as something communal, joyful, and healthy—, exactly what was missing.
